FundMyHome is a property platform designed to bring home buyers and contributors of capital together in a fast, simple and safe process.
Working with established developers, FundMyHome showcases a selection of ready (or close to ready) homes for sale. Buyers choose a property and pay 20% of the purchase price. Interested institutions contribute the balance of 80% in exchange for sharing changes in the future value of the property and earning a yield.
At the end of a commitment period of five years, the homebuyer can choose to either sell or stay on. Those wishing to stay can either buy out contributors with a normal mortgage or opt to refinance under FundMyHome. Over time, the homebuyer can gradually pay off contributors from his/her savings.
